ArrayProcessing AP 阵列处理技术积极意义与改进之处:
1.消除听众区当中的听感差异;实现全场声音音色一致性
2.可以根据用户的需求,可对声音能量,在空间中的再分配
(例如,我们可以让声音,避开挑台区,或者让三楼的听众区的声音能量移动到中前场等等)
3.整组线阵列的垂直指向更可控,有效的减少声音的弥漫,减少对天花的反射和对舞台的影响,在一些混响较长的场所,这个功能对于提高语言清晰度特别有效。
4.在大型演出的时候,经常同时吊挂多组线阵音箱,通过AP 可实现,多组阵列水平组合时衔接更平滑一致音色(AP 技术及算法中,具有统一的频率响应目标曲线,不管你使用在d&b 线阵中的不同型号,不同长度,水平过渡都非常的平滑一致)
5.精确远距离空气对声音吸收校正
d&b 线阵一直都具有HFC((High Frequency Compensation)功能;但以前都是有明显的档位开关的,例如HFC1 和HFC2 ; AP 可实现更平滑的无级调节。

What was the motivation?

To explain the following bulletpoints:

1. Remove spectral differences in audience areas
Create an equal tonal experience in all audience areas (sweet spot 4 all)

2. Spatial definition of SPL over distance
Definition & control of level over distance

3. Seamless sonic horizontal arraying
d&b reference frequency response for all arrays independent of their type, size and splay.

4. Precise correction of air absorption over distance
Seamless HFC per single cabinet.  

Possible future: Split beams for custom SPL avoidance zones. But this has to be determined.
